Jiankang YAO, Multiple Positions in IETF
Jiankang YAO, PhD holder of engineering,
joined CNNIC in 2003 and has mainly been conducting the technological and
standard research on IDN, EAI (Email Address Internationalization), DNS and Internet
naming and addressing. He has promoted the publication of many international
and domestic technological standards. Currently he is Member of IAB (Internet
Architecture Board) and Co-chair of IETF EXTRA. He is also Co-secretary of CDNS
(Chinese Domain Name Consortium). Mr. Yao used to be Co-chair of IETF APPSAWG, Secretary
of the EAI group, and Member of APPSDIR.
