Announcement on Further Enhancing the Security Protection Services for ".CN" and ".中国" Domain Names
To further strengthen the domain name security and provide users with more secure, convenient, and stable domain name services, thereby effectively protecting user rights and interests, starting from April 10, 2026, the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), in collaboration with accredited registrars, will offer the Domain Name Lock Service and the Domain Name Privacy Protection Service to users of ".CN" and ".China" domain names free of charge. Users in need of these services may directly contact the registrar of their respective ".CN" or ".China" domain name to apply.
