The 62rd members' meeting of APTLD (Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association) was successfully held in Singapore on February 21st and 22nd 2013. Representatives of CNNIC gave speeches in the meeting. The deputy director of the operation management department Ms. Ting Chen won re-election to a second two-year term as a board member of ATPLD. The board is the authority of APTLD， members of the board vote to make decisions regards important issues associated with APTLD. APTLD Secretariat is fully accountable to the Board and it is currently located in Hong Kong.

ATPLD members discussed topics related to ccTLD governance, impact of gTLD and .Asia- domain registration abuse suspension policy in the meeting. Xi’an was elected as the city for the 63rd members' meeting of APTLD in the board meeting. CNNIC will hold the meeting in August 2013. CNNIC will continue to participate in APTLD activities actively, and make more contributions to the improvement of the cooperation and communication between APTLD members regarding domain name technologies and policies.

APTLD is an organization for ccTLD (country-code Top Level Domain) registries in Asia Pacific region. APTLD was originally established in 1998, and in 2003 legally established in MalaysiaAPTLD works as the forum of information exchange regarding technological and operational issues of domain name registries in Asia Pacific region. Also, as an interface to other international Internet coordinating bodies, APTLD fosters and elevates participation of AP ccTLDs in these global fora, as well as acting in the best interest of APTLD members in global Internet policy making process.
