knet.cn, the “trusted website” verification management organization, and ijinshan.com recently made a joint announcement that the two parties had officially reached agreement on strategic cooperation in trust verification. knet.cn will open its “trusted website” verification database to Kingsoft Duba for free. Kingsoft Duba will fully integrate the “trusted website” verification function of knet.cn. If Kingsoft Duba is on, netizens using any of the six search engines--Baidu, Google, Bing, Sogou, Soso and Youdao--will obtain not only Kingsoft Duba’s cloud authentication security service, but also the “trusted website” verification service. By clicking the symbol of “website information verification”, they can verify identity information such as the website domain name and industrial and commercial registration to avoid fraud. It is reported that weibo.com and t.qq.com have completed similar cooperation with knet.cn recently.

Mr. Wei MAO, Chair of knet.cn, said that the fundamental purpose of “trusted website verification” is to allow netizens to verify the identity of a website in the simplest way. In recent years, with the increase of network phishing and network fraud risks, people in and out of the industry have been more aware of strengthening the construction of the “trusted Internet”. At present, the Guide to Trusted Website Mark Technology project has been included in the priorities of the China National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee for 2012, and it is expected that national standards for the field of “trusted website” verification will be promulgated soon.
