CNNIC Representatives Visited LANIC
Dr. Wei WANG, Deputy Director and Vice Chief Engineer of CNNIC, visited LANIC in Vientiane of Laos with three other experts respectively from operations department and operation management department from May 16 to 18, 2012 at the invitation of LANIC. They had a meeting with Mr. Khamkhith SAISONGKHAM, Director of LANIC, accompanied by Mr. Khamla SOUNNALAT, Deputy Director of LANIC, and LANIC management team during the visit.
During the visit, officials of LANIC introduced the current construction of LANIC including service platform deployment, software and hardware system of domain name registration, network and information security assurance system, etc. and took CNNIC visitors to the IDC and gave an introduction to it. CNNIC visitors shared their operation and management experience with LANIC and answered the questions asked by LANIC officials.
Both parties reached a consensus on further cooperation through friendly communication. CNNIC will have long-term friendly cooperation with LANIC and give support in system construction, business operations and personnel training, etc.
