CNNIC Achieved EC Election Successes in APNIC 31st Meeting
During the APNIC 31st Member Meeting (AMM) in Hong Kong, EC Election is held on Friday, 25 February 2011, 7 nominees ran for 4 vacant EC positions , CNNIC's representative ZHAO Wei was elected to the APNIC EC, together with the following candidates:

The APNIC EC represents the APNIC Membership and acts in the best interests of the organization; the APNIC EC consists of seven elected members including the Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. Each member of the EC serves a two-year term of office but is eligible for re-election at the end of each term, elections are held at each APNIC Member Meeting (AMM). Prof. QIAN Hualin and MAO Wei have served as APNIC EC before; they have laid a good foundation for CNNIC's international business.
