The Delegation Led by Executive Vice President of Intel Visited CNNIC
In the afternoon of September 1, 2011, the delegation led by Sean Maloney, Executive Vice President of Intel and Chairman of Intel China, visited China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), and they were accompanied by Mr. Xiangyang HUANG, Director of Computer Network Information Center (CNIC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Director of China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC).
CNNIC introduced to guests the main responsibilities of CNIC and CNNIC, and exchanged in-depth ideas regarding such technical issues as the development trends of Internet, mobile Internet, high-performance computing and cloud computing. The delegation of Intel also visited the IDC, exhibition room and demonstration hall. Director Huang introduced to the guests the information about CSTNET, ARP, national domain name system, and supercomputing, etc.
