On May 30th, 2013, representatives of Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) cordially met and signed a memorandum for future cooperation.

LEE Xiaodong, Chief Executive Officer of CNNIC, Ki Joo Lee, President of KISA, as well as other representatives, introduced their current work and gave their prospective on the future development, respectively. WANG Wei, Deputy Chief Engineer of CNNIC, briefed the current business of CNNIC to KISA representatives.

From 2001 till now, KISA and CNNIC have conducted wide cooperation in many fields regarding the international standards formulation, the cooperation in international projects and the exchange of resolution nodes. In this memorandum both parties have reached a preliminary intent of cooperation in respect of the Internet address technology, the service of new network technology and so on, which has propelled the cooperation of both parties to a higher level and laid a solid foundation for the future collaboration in the research of Internet information technology and other international affairs.
